Senior Care Assistant

An experienced carer ready for more responsibility: mentoring colleagues, quality-checking care, and helping shape a new, values-led care at home service from its early days.

What you'll do

Deliver outstanding personal care and lead by example
Mentor and shadow new care assistants
Carry out spot checks, care plan reviews and quality visits
Support rota coverage and on-call duties on a fair rotation
Champion safeguarding and raise concerns promptly

What we're looking for

Experience in care at home or similar social care setting
SVQ Social Services and Healthcare SCQF Level 6 (Level 7 desirable, or working towards — we fund it)
Current or transferable SSSC registration
PVG scheme membership (or willingness to join — we pay)
Full driving licence and access to a car
